Ok, I am writing this in Borders in Canberra Centre on what is clearly bring your Bogan to the City day, while sipping on my caramel steamer and trying to look like the coolest mofo with my macbook. This is going to be a bit of rant and a catch up for those who care, so for the rest of you, wait and the next 2 posts might be interesting, this will not give you any help with coaching but you may find that you are not the grumpiest person in the world because I am!!! J
So what have I been up to? …. Coaching, studying, coaching, some training and some more PhD stuff. Easy right? but, along the way I have had the fortune of running into the some of the most idiotic and annoying people. 1st people are those annoying twats who walk along not paying attention to where they are going, or even worse clearly see you coming but never move a muscle to accommodate you walking the other way! Today was especially bad in the glamorous Canberra Centre made busier by the Bogan fest that was, I saw every type of Mullet and bad fashion statement going and at least 10 ponytails. That’s how we roll in the ‘Berra!
Next rant is the fact that ESPN Australia has decided that no one gives a sh*t about Heineken Cup Rugby but obviously are waiting for the next instalment / repeat of some bullsh*t US sportscentre! Grrrr! Surely European Rugby is now up there with Super Rugby and has a far better following??? Hmmm? Never mind logic, JUST PUT IT BACK ON!!! Please???
While walking towards Borders (avoiding all the bogans out to get me) some stupid little wench came up trying to sell me some moisturiser, obviously she noticed my perfectly toned, clensed and moisturised face… anyway I was in no rush and needed a rest from dodging the weirdos so gave her 10seconds and what did she do?? She decided the best way to sell me this sh*t was to abuse me and say how tired and weathered I looked….nice, needless to say I left pretty quickly, By the way this stuff cost $150 a bottle! Wonder if I missed out….. NAAAAT!
On a better note I found the next Michael Connelly book last week , “The Reversal”. His series of books following Harry Bosch and his merry band of support acts are excellent and a real page-turner. Unfortunately once I have finished this I will have to go back to reading some books that actually improve me and not just entertainment… boo!
Went to see “Girl who played with Fire” today while out on my weekly excursion, good film but really glad I read the book because I reckon some of it would be hard to fathom, most of the background to the story was left out and that is what really made this excellent to read, left a little disappointed but gave it 3 stars. On a positive note I am glad the lady next to me had a great time stuffing her face with the noisiest crisps/chips around and was proud of her constant commentary, it was very insightful…
To finish with, because I finally got my Ashes Test tickets for Boxing Day and to show I may have a good side I will give you a double posting of some impressive ladies, perverts enjoy! O yeah and keep reading!
